When women were considered better programmers than men

Mark Guzdial wrote about The Computer Boys Take Over, a book that covers the period when women were actually a big part of the computing industry, and often considered better at it than men.  I haven’t had a chance to read the book yet, but gave it as a graduation gift to one of my students last year.  Check out some of the tidbits Mark highlights:
