Halloween has begun, and, as you can see, Geeky Girl is going hippie this year. I forced her to look at Woodstock pictures to “understand” the time period. The interesting thing about them is that most people look fairly ordinary. What we think of now as hippie is a caricature based on a small group of outlandishly dressed people.
Following Geeky Girl’s lead, I’ll be dressing as Gloria Steinem. I’m tempted to burn an old bra.
