I’m not sure how I feel about this announcement by the Chronicle. I mean, really, is technology so overwhelming that people need therapy to deal with it? I need therapy sometimes to deal with people’s lack of knowledge about technology. I have a more thoughtful post about some things I’ve been thinking about along these lines which I’ll put together at some point. Life has been a little crazy this week with work in high gear, not one, but two birthdays to celebrate and the looming dissertation defense (yes, I’m starting to get anxious). As each task gets accomplished, I can feel the stress melting away, but it seems there are always more tasks. Sigh. Anyway, what are your thoughts about technology therapy? Do we really need such a thing?
